XPW技术在提高超短激光脉冲对比度中的作用

摘要 有效提高激光脉冲对比度是推动超短超强激光技术发展的一个关键问题。交叉偏振波(XPW)滤波技术基于非线性晶体的三阶非线性特性,可显著提高超短激光脉冲对比度。结合国际上有关XPW滤波技术研究的最新进展,介绍了XPW滤波特性及实验研究结果。最新研究结果表明,采用这种技术可以将超短激光脉冲对比度提高4个量级。内部转换效率提高到50%。 It is an important problem to improve the contrast of laser pulse effectively which will promote the development of ultra-short and ultra-intense laser system. XPW (cross-polarized wave) generation based on third orders nonlinear character istic of crystal, can reduce the contrast of laser pulse drastically. Based on the new approaches doing with XPW generation technology, the filtering characters about XPW generation technology and the experimental results are introduced. This technology can promote the contrast of ultra-short laser pulse by 4 magnitude, the conversion efficiency can be improved to 50%.
