The Younger Dryas Event has been recorded in Europe, North and South America and in Northern Part of China, althongh up to now, there is not any evidence has been found in the Southern China. A pollen spectrum in Nanling Region showed that there existed a sharp decrease of the evergreen broad leaved tree pollen around 10400 a BP. It may be the effect of the Younger Dryas Event on the lower latitude of China.
