摘要
1972—1973年发生了一次强厄尼诺过程。已有不少人对这次厄尼诺过程中海洋要素和气象要素的变化进行了分析。这些讨论均将范围局限于太平洋地区。本文利用了COADS资料,对印度洋、太平洋赤道地区风场和海温场的变化作了综合分析,井对它们的变化与厄尼诺的关系进行了讨论。
Using COADS in this paper, continuous changes of wind fields in the equatorial Indian and Pacific Ocean are analysed. It is pointed out that changes of wind fields in the equatorial Indian and Pacific Ocean are contrary. During this El Nino west wind anomalies move gradually eastward from Indian Ocean to east Pacific. There are three anomalies of crossing-equator flows which associate with eastward moving west wind anomalies. Therefore, the interaction between both hemishpheres plays an important role in El Nino.
