阐述了信息革命对社会进步的重大作用以及人类所面临的巨大的挑战和机遇，指出了它将对人类社会和思维方式产生的各种影响．同时，对计算机网络与信息高速公路的发展前景作了一些展望．
This paper expresses that informational revolution has brought the great action for society progress,and human being has faced the huge challenge and chance.It has been pointed out that the computer network and NII shocks socity and thoughts of human being and looks forward its prospect.
