摘要
为了降低求解聚焦矩阵时的计算量,提出了一种新的宽带聚焦波达方向(DOA)估计方法.根据各个频点的信号子空间来构造聚焦矩阵,得到单一频率点的数据协方差,再应用窄带信号处理的方法进行DOA估计.这种聚焦矩阵维数小于双边相关变换(TCT)方法,因此新方法运算量小于双边相关变换方法,便于工程上的实现,并且适用于任意的平面阵列.仿真结果证明了算法的有效性.
Traditional wide-band direction finding methods usually need to estimate focusing matrices, a very complex procedure. In order to decrease the computational challenge when calculating the focusing matrix, a new direction of arrivals (DOA) estimation algorithm for wideband sources was introduced. Focusing matrices are formed on the signal subspace of every frequency in the signal bandwidth. In this way the covariance matrix of the individually measured frequencies is gained, and then the method for narrow band signals was used to estimate the DOA. Due to the smaller dimensions of the matrix used in the focusing matrix, the new method reduced the computational load compared with the two-sided correlation transformation (or bilateral related transform) algorithm. It is easy to implement and can be adapted to an arbitrary plane array. Computer simulations proved the effective performance of the method.
