摘要
目前，中国学术界所能提供给大众的关于海外社会的知识与中国不断扩大的影响力并不匹配。本文以北京外国语大学和东南亚研究为例，结合自身的海外田野经验，说明中国学术界在海外社会知识生产上存在着区域不平衡、学科门类狭窄和缺少一手材料研究等问题。持续性地书写海外社会的人类学民族志应该成为知识生产的重要方式。
The knowledge about overseas societies that the Chinese academia offers doesn＇t match the increasing influence of China at present time. This paper illustrates the problems and insufficiencies in overseas societies＇ knowledge production： regional unbalance, stricture of disciplines and the defect in study approach. They are explained by two cases：Beijing Foreign Studies University and Southeast Asian study. Writing the ethnography of foreign societies continuously should become the important way for the Chinese academia to produce the knowledge about the overseas societies.
