Time-of-Arrival estimation based on non-coherent energy detection in IR-UWB Systems

摘要 本文改进了文献中基于能量检测的粗同步判决准则,采用最大值/门限法来实现超宽带信号的粗同步和以向前合并积分窗的方式来确定包含首达路径的不定域。然后,重点研究应用滑窗法来进行精确TOA估计,给出了滑窗法适宜的积分窗长度范围和最佳相邻积分窗起始点间隔等参数,并提出运用二次滑窗处理来减少积分器的数目。仿真结果表明,二次滑窗法取得了与滑窗法积分器数目足够多时十分接近的估计精度,大大减少积分器的数目。 In this paper,coarse synchronization is achieved by the means of maximum energy selection(MES)/threshold comparison(TC).In the meantime,determine the uncertainty region which includes the signal leading edge position.And then mainly study of achieving accurate time-of-arrival(TOA) estimation with a process of sliding window(SW),given the fitting length of the window,2nd SW proposed to decrease the number of integrators.Simulation results show that the performance of 2nd SW are very close to that of SW with enough integrators.
