This paper deals with information of forest quarantine insect pest in Gannan County. There are five kinds of forest quarantine insect pests in Gannan
County, paranthrene tabaniformis, Cryptorhynchus lapathi , Quadraspidi. otus gigas, Lepidosaphes' salicina,Phassus excrescens, whose distribution is very wide and whose harmfulness very great.The Writer has dividedit into the Protection
zone and pestilent zone of various kinds of quarantine insect pests based on investigation, studied economic simple available controlling methods, and made some suggestion for controlling afterwards.
