摘要
民国初年,蔡元培手订《大学令》,为中国现代大学奠定了制度基础;五年后,蔡元培改造北京大学,方使其大学理念成为制度现实。作为中国现代大学制度的创立者,他一方面锐意改革,另一方面又适时宣传和阐释其大学理念。蔡元培大学理念的制度化过程,彰显出理念与实践的密切联系。
Cai Yuanpei instituted University Regulations in 1912 and established the idea basis for Chinese modern university.Cai＇s ideal of founding Chinese modern universities became reality only after his reforming Peking University five years later.Cai was keen on reform in the early days of Peking University,but on the other hand he propagated and illuminated his ideas duly as an institutional entrepreneur.The institutionalization of Cai＇s ideas revealed the relative effectiveness between his idea and practice.
