摘要
由于现代性与现代民族国家的冲突以及政治体制改革的滞后,中国现代性建设没有完成。在这种历史条件下,当代反现代性学术思潮对现代性的批判就缺乏合理性。当代反现代性学术思潮主要为后殖民主义和国学思潮。后殖民主义认为中国的启蒙主义运动是西方殖民主义话语的产物,国学思潮认为儒家代表的中国文化可以弥补甚至取代现代文明,它们都具有反现代性的倾向。为了建设现代文化和现代学术,必须批判这两种学术思潮。
Because of the conflict between modernity and modern nation-state, and the delay on political reform, the construction of Chinese modernity is uncompleted. Under these circumstances, it is lack of legality for contemporary academic trends, which are the critiques of modernity. These trends include post-colonialism and trend of sinology. The former argues that Chinese enlightenment movement is the product of discourse of western colonialism, while the latter believes that Confucianism, the representative of Chinese culture, may remedy or replace modern civilization. As a result, they both are the trends of anti-modernity. It is necessary to criticize both of them, for the sake of the construction of modern culture and modern academy.
