摘要
利用双线偏振雷达可以明显提高雷达估测降水和识别降水粒子相态的能力,而对其测量值的准确估算是其中的一个关键问题。分析了ΦDP参数特性,讨论了利用ΦDP估算KDP的方法,并利用实际的雷达探测数据进行了检验,结果表明该方法可以比较有效地消除C波段双偏振雷达探测数据中的后向散射差分相位δ的影响,估算得到的KDP值分布与回波强度值的分布比较吻合,能够比较合理地反映降水粒子的分布特征。其研究结果可供今后双线偏振雷达应用提供参考依据。
Polarimetric radar observations can improve the ability of rainfall measurement and hydrometeor classification obviously, while their estimation precision is an important question. According to the feature of φDP, in this paper, we discuss the method of calculating KDP from φDP, which is assessed by the radar observations. The results show that the method provided in this paper can separate 8 from φDP in C-band polarimetric radar data effectively, and the distribution of φDP estimated from the raw radar data is well consistent with that of ZH, which means that it can reflect the characteristics of precipitation reasonably. This work can give much help to our future polarimetric radar operation practices.
