摘要
祈雨丰年是中国民间水崇拜信仰之一。这一民间习俗的文化内涵在中国不断延续、传承的同时,不可避免地发生了一连串的变异,形成中华大地上各具特色的祈雨风俗。陕西省旬邑县晚清民间祈雨风俗的来历、方式及过程,从历史学、民俗学、人类学的角度来看,仪式中所体现的西北农村普遍存在的信仰形态,对研究民俗学、历史学等学科都有着极其重要的作用。
Praying for rain and harvest is one of the water worships among the Chinese folk. While being car- ried forward and passed from generation to generation, the cultural connotation of this folk custom has experienced a series of variation inevitably, thus gave birth to rain-praying customs of distinct characteristics. This paper takes the rain-praying ceremony of Xunyi County, Shaanxi Province in late Qing Dynasty as target for inspection,ex- plores the history, methods and processes of the local people＇s rain-praying customs. Meanwhile, it explains the processes and cultural connotations of the ceremony from the perspective of history, folklore and anthropology. The belief embodied in the ceremony and prevalent in the north-west rural area has an important role in the study of folklore, history and other disciplines.
