摘要
图像质量评价方法在数字图像处理方法的研究中起重要的作用。由于数字图像处理结果的最终接受者是人 ,因此在评价图像质量时必须考虑到人类视觉系统的特性。该文利用小波变换匹配于人类视觉系统的多信道模型的性质 ,结合人类视觉系统的特性 ,通过建立小波变换域中的可视性门限模型 ,给出了一个新的图像质量评价方法。模拟实验表明该方法优于通常的评价方法 。
The criteria of image quality evaluation play an important role in digital image processing.Since human being is the final receiver of output of digital image processing,the characteristics of human visual system (HVS) must be incorporated into the criterion of image quality evaluation. In this paper,wavelet transform is used because it matches well with the multichannel model of HVS.A new criterion of image quality evaluation is proposed based on the visibility threshold model in wavelet transform domain. Results of experimental stimulation are compared with one of the ordinary criteria,and are shown to be consistent with the subjectively perceptual image quality.
