摘要
大学校歌是最能反映一所大学办学理念、精神追求的表征形式,是校园文化的重要载体。符号化的歌词以及音符凝练着大学理念,体现着其办学特色和历史积淀。民国时期的的各大学都十分重视校歌的创作,而对大学理念的追求则直接反映在其校歌上。民国时期的校歌体现了当时大学对传承儒家文化、崇尚传统精神、倡导思想自由、追求科学真理、唤起学生社会责任、激发民族意识等理念的追求,并展现了那时期大学的勃勃生机,也为当下大学校歌的创作、大学理念的追求提供了一定借鉴依据。
University Anthem is a symbol which perfectly reflects the philosophy running a university, and the spiritual pursuit, and it is also an important carrier of the campus culture. The symbolic lyrics and notes compact the concept of the university and demonstrate its characteristics and historical accumu- lations. Universities during the period of the Republic of China all paid much attention to composing the anthems, and their pursuit about the philosophy in running the universities could be examined from their anthems directly. The university anthems at the time reflected the pursuit from the aspects like inheriting Confucian culture, upholding traditional spirit, advocating ideological freedom, pursuing scientific truth, awaking students＇social responsibility, and stimulating national awareness and exhibited animation of the universities. The university anthems of that time have also provided a good reference for the current university anthem composing and the pursuit of university philosophy.
