摘要
对称性是客观事物的一种十分普遍的表现形式。在科技出版领域里，不论是科技文稿的内容及表达形式，还是书籍、期刊的设计都与对称性有密切的联系。因此，对称性的研究对于做好科技编辑工作是有意义的。本文探讨了科技出版领域中对称的类型、构成对称的条件与对称的规则，从而建立起科技编辑对称范畴方法，并应用于两方面的实际问题。
Symmetry is an expression pattern in common forobjective things. In scientific publishing area, the contentand form, of scientific papers and the design of books andjournals are closely related symmetry.So the study of sym-metry is significant in editing journal.In this paper the typesof symmetry,the conditions that produce symmetry and therules of symmetry are discussed. The 'symmetry categorymethod in sci-tech editing' is applied to two aspects of realwork.
