Study on growth characteristics of three evergreen poplar clones in seedling stage

摘要 为了了解目前世界上仅有的3个常绿杨树无性系(A-65/27、A-65/31及A-61/186)在亚热带的生长适应性,对它们苗期生长状况进行了研究。结果表明,3个无性系的扦插成活率达到90%以上。高度和地径年生长动态存在明显的速生期,高度年速生期主要在6-9月份,地径速生期集中在8-10月份。A-61/186的叶面积是三者中最大的,但其叶面积从生长初期到生长盛期的增加幅度最小,4月份A-65/27叶面积大于A-65/31,9月份A-65/31叶面积大于A-65/27,3个无性系生长过程中叶面积的增大主要是叶宽的增加。A-61/186的总生物量最大,苗木生物量1年生A-65/27大于A-65/31,2年生A-65/31大于A-65/27,根、茎、叶各部分生物量占总的比例大小趋势是一致的,均为茎>根>叶。3个无性系之间高度、地径、叶面积生长量及生物量均不存在显著差异。 There are only three evergreen poplar clones now,including A-65/27,A-65/31 and A-61/186.Easy cutting propagation,higher afforestation survival rate and fast-growing evergreen poplas clones with high yield and excellent wood quality are their common features.Tree species resources of south timber forests would be abounded significantly through extensively planting these poplar clones.The experiments of cutting and transplanting were made in order to understand the growth characteristics of evergreen poplar clones.The results showed that the cutting survival rates were higher than 90%.There was a clear fast-growing period for the growth of height and ground diameter in a year.High growth rate of height growth was mainly from June to September,and ground diameter growth mainly in August,September and October.The leaf area of A-61/186 was the largest in the three clones,but its growth range was the lowest.The leaf area of A-65/27 was bigger than A-65/31 in April but lower in September.And leaf area was mainly increased through growth of leaf width.The biomass of A-61/186 was the largest in the three clones also,and that of A-65/27 was larger than A-65/31 for one-year-old plant and lower for two-year-old plant.Biomass structure of three clones were all stem〉root〉leaf for one-year-old and two-year-old seedlings.There were no significant differences among three clones in height,ground diameter,leaf area and biomass.
