摘要
本文通过对２４例磨牙症患者的病史询问、临床体征及治疗过程的检查，并使用吸光度法测定其治疗前后咀嚼效能。结果显示①大多数患者的咀嚼效能高于正常，但伴有关节源性及肌源性疼痛的患者低于正常。②经治疗后咀嚼效能均向正常值靠近。结果提示牙接触面积增大。
Changes of masticatory performance determined by the light absorption method in 24 patients with bruxism are studied before and after treatment. The results showed: (1) Masticatory performance in most of patients is higher than that of normal people, with except that masticatory performance in those patients with masticatory muscles or temporomandibular joint tenderness is lower. (2) Masticatory performance in each patients is incline to come back to normal level after treatment. It can be concluded from this study that increasement of tooth contacting area and hyperfunction or hypertrophy ofmasticatory muscles is chiefly responsible for higher masticatory performance in patients with bruxism.
