摘要
在分析当前国内外地理信息系统（ＧＩＳ）技术与公路环境保护应用的基础上，描述ＧＩＳ在公路环境保护领域应用的主要功能、目的、特点及发展趋势，初步探讨ＧＩＳ应用于公路选线、环境影响评价、环境工程设计、环境管理等方面的可行性。
On the basis of integrated analysis of GIS and its application to highway environmental protection,the function, feature and developing prospect of GIS's application to the highway environmental protection are described initially;then,a structure framework of model base of GIS's application to highway environmental protection is designed to provide a train of thought for GIS's application to highway environmental conservation and management.
