摘要
本文提出了一种道路识别系统中基于边缘的快速算法,并给出了其实时实现的方法。我们在分析了Canny算法的优点和不足基础上,结合道路识别的特点,提出一种适合于硬件实现的快速边缘检测算法。最后实时实现了上还算法,其中算法的底层采用基于FPGA芯片的硬件实现。文中还简要讨论了系统中基于区域的算法和两种算法的融合。
A quick edge method and its real-time implementation in a road recognition system are presented. The advantage and drawback of applying Cannys edge detection algorithm to road boundary detectionfirstly discussed.Then a quick algorithm fitting for hardware implementation is proposed after studying the specialsituation of road recognition. At last the real-time realization of the algorithm is proposed, in which thelow-level processing unit is based on an FPGA chip. In this paper the region based method of the system andfusion of these two method are briefly discussed.
