摘要
该文通过对詹克斯和文丘里后现代建筑理论的评析,指出两人在"建筑的语言和隐喻"这一问题上的不同立场:詹克斯看重建筑隐喻的含义,而文丘里则看重建筑表达隐喻的方式。文章也由此剖析了文丘里坚称自己是现代主义者,而不是后现代主义者的缘由。
Based on the review of Jencks and Venturi’s post-modern architecture theories, this article points out their different opinions on ＂the language and metaphor of architecture＂： Jencks pays more attention to the meaning of architecture’s metaphor while Venturi attaches more to the way of expressing metaphor. Moreover, the article also analyzes the reason why Venturi insists on declaring himself as a modernist rather than a post-modernist.
