摘要
新闻报业几乎已经在所有流程环节采用了计算机技术,但在版面设计时仍然大量地依赖于版面编辑的思维劳动和手工作业,效率低下.前者实现了从CAD到CIMS的转换,这是过去10年中CAD领域的主攻方向;后者则研究如何使CAD走向智能化,难度要大得多.本文就新闻出版业讨论了这一问题,并首次实现了一个模拟人类版面编辑的实用的中文报纸版面自动设计与规划系统LOSJO.系统库中所含内容为未经提炼的原始资料(Material),内容的形象性成分较高;并由一套基于该库的多源类比生成算法完成推理与设计.与常规的实例推理(CBR)相比,本文的方法是基于资料的推理方法(MaterialBasedReasoning,MBR).MBR更加面向对象、目标与用户,而与库的建构无关.实践证明了系统的有效性.
Automata has been applied to almost all the procedures in newspaper industry, however, designing page layout is still in the mode of manual work and relying on the idea of human editors, and the efficiency is so low. Automata makes way from CAD to CIMS (Computer integrated Manufacturing System), and this is the main research topic of CAD during the past 10 years. How to put intelligence into CAD is the current task and will be much more hard than ever. This paper discusses the problem in the field of newspaper industry, and implements firstly a practical automated system LOSJO for newspaper page designing which simulates the thinking and designing process of human editors. Comparing with the traditional case-based reasoning (CBR), it is different because the database of LOSJO contains intact materials which are mostly of image. A set of algorithms based on the theory of multi-source analogical reasoning conducts all the reasoning and design with these materials. This can be called material-based reasoning (MBR). MBR is object-oriented and mainly facing to terminal users and the targets, and has nothing to do with the structure and expression of the data in base. The practice proves its effectiveness.
