摘要
北京近代以来多是中国政治中心,和其他工商业发达的城市相比妓女数量较少,采取断然禁娼不会产生较大的社会动荡,故建国初北京一夜之间封闭了全市所有的妓院,并对妓女进行集中收容、教育、改造和安置,这一方式被称为"北京方式"。北京市封闭妓院、改造妓女,彻底摧垮了娼妓制度,取得了巨大的成功,在国内外都产生了广泛而深刻的影响。北京在改造妓女的过程中,在教育方式、区别对待妓院经管人员与普通妓女、社会动员等方面积累了一些可资借鉴的经验。
Since the modem times, Beijing was China＇ s political center most of the time. So compared with other industry and commerce developed cities, the prohibition of prostitutes could not result in severe social turmoil. So in the early stage of P. R. C, Beijing closed all brothels and offered accommodation, education, transformation and arrangement for the prostitutes and its success exerted great influence both home and abroad. In this process, Beijing accumulated a lot of experiences in educational style, discrimination from brothel managing members and ordinary prostitutes and social mobilization.
