摘要
以太网无源光网络(EPON)是宽带接入的最有效方式之一,它以高带宽、低成本、易使用、易升级的优良特性成为光接入网的最佳选择,为用电信息采集系统远程通信的建立提供了一种可靠、有效的通信通道。一套完善的网络管理软件能够促进EPON网络的正常运行,但各个厂家提供的EPON网元管理系统的体系结构及通信监控网络差异很大,而且相互之间兼容性差,这些都给EPON网络的运行管理带来了不便。在分析了EPON网元管理技术原理的基础上,提出建设EPON综合网管系统,解决了网元管理系统中的管理孤岛问题,为EPON网络系统的可靠运行提供了保障。
Ethernet Passive Optical Network (EPON) is one of the most effective broadband accesses technologies. With the advantages of high bandwidth, low cost, easy to use and upgrade, it becomes the best choice of optical access network. At the same time, it provides reliable and effective channels for information collection system of electricity. Because of the differences existing in EPON network element management system provided by different manufacturers, the network compatibility is bad. This brings inconvenience for EPON network operation. This paper analyses the principle of EPON element network management, and puts forward the suggestion that an integrated network management system (INMS) based on EPON should be built to provide more reliable services for system operation and management.
