摘要
随着IT行业的发展,嵌入式系统日益重要,尤其是Linux操作系统更是得到了极高的重视与广泛的应用。本文以VMware虚拟机为工具,以fedora 8及2.6.23内核版本为例,详细分析Linux操作系统的启动过程;并把启动过程分为硬件初始化、内核引导、运行init程序、建立终端等4部分。分析每个阶段的执行过程并画出整个操作系统的启动过程流程图。对Linux操作系统启动过程的分析,是进一步分析Linux内核及裁剪linux操作系统和最终将Linux用于嵌入式系统的基础工作。
With the rapid development of the IT industry, the embedded system has been more and more important, especially the Linux operating system which has got great recognition and comprehensive application. This paper analyzes the startup process of Linux operating system by VMware virtual PC, taking a fedora 8 and kernel version 2.6.23 as an example. It divides the startup process into four stages such as hardware initializations, kernel guiding, init process running, and terminal building. After analyzing the startup process of every stage, it draws the following chart of the startup process. The analysis of the startup process of Linux operating system is the basic work for deeply analyzing Linux kernel, cutting out Linux operating system and finally applying Linux into the embedded system.
