摘要
ＡＴＭ是一种面向连接的信息转移模式。这些连接分为永久型虚连接（ＰＶＣ）和交换型虚连接（ＳＶＣ）。提供ＰＶＣ是ＡＴＭ网络管理的功能之一，而提供ＳＶＣ则是信令系统的基本任务。完整的信令系统包括ＵＮＩ信令和ＮＮＩ信令。本文对ＵＮＩ信令系统的功能、体系结构及有关协议进行简要的描述，从而有助于信令软件的设计。
ATM is a connection oriented information transfer mode.These connections can be divided into two types:permanent virtual connection(PVC) and switched virtual connections(SVC).To provide PVC is one of functions of the ATM network management,and supporting SVC is the basic task of the signaling system.The whole signaling system includes in UNI signaling and NNI signaling.In this paper, a brief description of UNI signaling system functions,architecture and relevant protocols are given.It is helpful to design of the signaling software.
