From November 7 to 8,the 2009 Conference on International Exchange of Professionals (CIEP) was held in Shenzhen,Guangdong province. Vice-Premier Zhang Dejiang attended the opening ceremony of the conference on November 7,and delivered a speech. This article is an abstract of his speech at the 2009 CIEP. Zhang Dejiang called for increased exchange and cooperation of professionals globally to promote world prosperity and development. China would unswervingly follow the policy of opening up and would continue bringing in foreign professionals to broaden international exchange and promote world development,Zhang said.
