摘要
《红楼梦》是中国古典小说中的鸿篇巨著,其诗歌是小说不可分割的一部分。《秋窗风雨夕》是《红楼梦》中林黛玉所作长诗之一,它浸透着一种黛玉式的凄婉哀伤,并且体现了她的性格和命运。运用我国著名诗歌翻译家许渊冲在其诗歌翻译中体现出的译者主体性理论,对杨宪益、戴乃迭夫妇与戴维.霍克思关于《秋窗风雨夕》的两种英译文进行比读和赏析。
The Story of the Stone is a great Chinese classical novel,and poetry is an essential part of it.＂Autumn Window： A Night of Wind and Rain＂ is one of LIN Dai-yu s long poems.It embodies the special beauty and indicates LIN s character and destiny.The translator s subjectivity theory,which is demonstrated in the poem translation of XU Yuan-chong,is applied to compare two English versions of translation by YANG Xian-yi and David Hawkes.
