摘要
研究了含色散左手材料作为芯层的对称3层平板波导TE波的传输特性。利用有效折射率与频率的关系图,讨论了芯层色散和芯层厚度对波导的影响。研究表明,导波和表面波都可以在这种波导中传播。导波不存在TE0模式,表面波有TE0、TE1模式,阶数m>1的所有TEm都是导波,除TE0模外所有TE模都存在双模现象。并与无色散左手材料平板波导进行对比,发现它们模式特性的差异。
Studied propagation properties of the TE mode for symmetrical three-layer waveguide with left-handed materials containing dispersion as core layer.The influences on core layer′s dispersion and thickness for waveguide were concentrated by the relationship between effective refraction index and frequency.The results prove that guided and surface waves can both propagate in the waveguide.There is no TE0 mode for guided waves.There are TE0 or TE1 mode for surface waves.All TEm(order m〉1) are guided waves,all TE modes show two-mode phenomenon except TE0 mode.And results were compared with three slabs waveguide with left-handed dispersionless material,and the characteristic differences of their modes were found.
