基于新型宽带半模SIW巴伦的双平衡混频器

Design of a Dual-Balanced Mixer Based on the Novel Broadband HMSIW Balun

摘要 利用新型宽带半模基片集成波导(SIW)巴伦,设计制作了一个X波段双平衡混频器。利用SIW上下导带电流相位相差180。的原理,经优化设计使该巴伦具有体积小、带宽大、平衡性好等特点。测试结果表明,该双平衡混频器在8.7~9.7GHz的频率范围内变频损耗小于9dB,最小可达7.3dB;噪声系数小于lOdB,实物面积为60mm×68mm。 In this paper, the design of an X-band dual-balanced mixer based on a novel broadband HMSIW balun is presented. The operation mechanism of the balun is based on the fact that the phase difference of waveguide surface current between the top and the bottom is 180 degrees. With the advantage of the HMSIW architecture, these mixers have the feature of good balance, wide bandwidth, compact size and low cost. In the frequency band from 8.7 -9.7GHz, the conversion loss of the mixer is less than 9dB, and minimum is 7.3dB. Noise figure is less than lOdB, and full size is 60ram ×68mm.
