描述了测水组具丘状层理的石英砂岩风暴岩和具丘状层理的粉砂岩风暴岩以及邵东组的具粒序层理的粉砂质风暴岩和泥质介壳层风暴岩,四种风暴岩的环境分布依次为前滨——上临滨、下临滨——过渡带、远滨或滨外泥质陆棚.
The clastic tempestites in Lower CarboniferousShaodong and Ceshui Formations are first re-ported.The tempestites in Ceshui Formationconsist of quartz arenites and siltstones withthe hummocky cross stratification,and inShaodong Formation consit of siltstones andmuddy shell beds with the ripple laminationand graded bedding.They were formed in theforeshore shoreface and offshore muddy shelfenvironments.
