摘要
以拜厄特在《占有》的维多利亚历史叙事中所采用的三次"作者式叙事干预"为切入点,以小见大地剖析了小说家在《占有》的维多利亚历史的后现代重构过程中,第三人称全知模式侵入历史叙事的必要性及由其而生发的奇妙的艺术效果,并在此基础上深入探讨了拜厄特再现维多利亚时期的后现代重构策略及其独特的历史观。
Based on the interpretation of the three - time authorial narrative intervention Byatt adopts in the Victorian historical narrative level in the novel Possession, this paper explores, in the course of the postmodernist reconstruction of Victorian age,the necessity of the third - person narrator' s intrusion into the historical narrative and thus aroused intriguing aesthetic effects. It further makes a thorough analyses on the strategies Byatt employs in her postmodernist reconstruction of the Victorian past and her unique attitude towards history.
