摘要
随着三维城市的建设,数据内容将日益增加,数据量不断加大,多细节层次技术、模型简化技术和数据存储管理技术日益显示出其应用的重要性。因此,本文分析了有关虚拟场景中建筑物模型多细节层次技术的层级划分和生成实现方式。从而进一步探讨了实现细节层次模型所需的建筑物模型简化方法,以及应用一种基于XML的3D图形标准的3DXML实现对城市三维建筑物模型LOD信息的管理。
As many 3D virtual cites are under construction, the rapidly increasing size and complexity of the 3D models are acquired. In order to satisfy various demands of different applications, the methods of levels of detail (LODs) , generalization and data management are becoming more important. The levels of LOD and its generation were analyzed in this paper. Then, 3DXML, a light-weight XML-based format for quick and easy sharing of 3D data, is used to manage reality-based LODs of 3D building models.
