摘要
协议机制的改进,实现的优化和设计新型协议是解决传统运输协议在高速网络环境和新型应用背景面临问题和缺陷的三种有效途径。我们在分析协议机制改进和实现优化及其局限性的基础之上,着重研究和比较各种新型运输层协议机制在高速网络和新型应用下功能和性能的灵活性和适应性,并简单描述高速计算机网络运输层协议的国际标准化工作。
Revisions on mechanism,improvements on implementation of traditional protocols as well as designs and standardizations on novel ones are the most possible solutions to survive from the challenges emerged from high speed networks and new style applications After recognition the limitation of mechanism revisions and implementation improvements,we have made some comparisons on the flexibility and functionality of several popular novel transport protocols We also exhibited the related work we are involved in and some standardization activities in international standard bodies It is the core and the start point of the research on protocols for High Speed Networks
