阐述了遗传规划的原理和方法，探讨了遗传规划这一新的优化方法在工作面产量和工效的预测中的应用，给出了预测实例。为如何正确预测工作面产量和工效提供了一条新的技术途径。通过验证，证明该方法是合理可行的。
