摘要
我国虽是世界第一产钢大国，但与钢铁强国之间，无论在产品结构上、装备水平上、吨钢综合能耗上差距甚大。因此，我国钢铁工业面临的选择：只有积极进行钢铁产品结构的调整；钢铁企业进行兼并，淘汰一批，改造一批，增强企业实力；无论是老企业改造，还是新厂建设都应积极采用起点高、技术含量高的新工艺、新技术、新装备，而且应使工艺流程先进。
China has been the first in steel production,but comparing with the powerful countries in iron and steel industry,still there are big differences in product structure,equipment level and comprehensive energy consumption per ton steel.With the object of ranking among the countries powerful in iron & steel industry,the mere choice facing China iron and steel industry is to take vigorous action to adjust its product mix,merge or eliminate and revamp some iron and steel enterprises to enhance their actual strength,and adopt new advanced process,technology and equipment while revamping old works or building new works.
