小波变换在遥感图象压缩中的应用研究 被引量:6

摘要 详细研究了基于小波变换的遥感图象压缩编码技术。针对卫星气象云图及合成孔径雷达图象压缩的不同要求,分别提出了自适应加权量化及快速小波变换的方法。实验结果表明本文提出的方法是解决遥感图象压缩编码的有效途径之一。 Remote sensing image compression based on wavelet is studied in this paper. Two improved techniques, namely adaptive weighting quantization combining with famous SPHIT and fast wavelet transform based on lifting scheme, are proposed for two typical remote sensing image compression respectively. Experiment shows that our improved ways are effective for remote sensing image compression.
