摘要
PXI总线凭借其开放式架构和PC技术的低成本优势,使之发展为自动化应用、测试和测量的标准化平台,因此有必要对PXI总线接口技术进行深入研究。针对PXI协议由PCI和Compact PCI扩展而来的特点,详细分析了PXI扩展信号的信号特征和实现方法,通过Altera公司的FPGA控制PCI9656专用芯片的方法对PXI外围模块接口进行设计,并以Verilog语言的PCI9656控制器为例介绍了PCI9656的控制方法。设计通过FPGA配合PCI9656的方案为快速、高效的设计64位PXI接口提供了一种有效的方法。
PXI Bus grows into standard platform of automatization, testing and measurement by open frame and PC technique low cost advantages. In view of the PXI specification developing from PCI and CompactPCI, analyzes the realization methods of PXI extensive signals. Designs the interface of PXI peripheral modules using Altera Corporation's FPGA and PCI9656, and presents PCI9656 control method by Verilog language. It provides an effective method to design the 64 bit PXI interface quickly by using FPGA and PCI9656.
