摘要《文化与文明史比较研究》是何平先生今年3月出版的一部新著，该书汇集了作者近十年来的25篇论文，其中大多数是作者的代表性作品。从1998年留学回国至今，何平老师在西方史学理论、文化与文明理论、中西历史比较等领域笔耕不辍，本书的出版可以看作是他的一次学术总结。《文化与文明史比较研究》一书按主题分为三个部分：“文化和文明研究的概念”、“文明史及其比较研究”以及“西方史学理论和中国历史研究”。
