This paper expounds the characteristics about the body and the bogie of a vehicle for light rail transit, including the dimensions of the body, the layout within the body, the materials of the body, the structure of high and low floor cars, the arrangement of the doors, truck frame, the flexible suspension of motors and the drive, radial truck and independent wheel brake equipment, etc., intimates the consideration of future manufacture and technical ex-ploitaion.
