摘要
棉花是新疆最具规模种植优势的经济作物,由棉花种植、加工、运销、外贸、研发、金融及深加工构成的棉花产业,在新疆国民经济和社会发展中具有举足轻重的地位。本文首先对建国以来新疆棉花产业的发展历程和取得的成就进行了回顾;其次,分析了全球金融危机下新疆棉花产业面临的严峻挑战;最后,提出了发展新疆棉花产业的几点对策建议。
Cotton is the most suitable crops for scale plantation. Cotton industry consisting of planting, processing, transporting, marketing, trading, R＆D, and financing plays a very important role in promoting the economic and social development in Xin- jiang. The paper first reviews the development and achievements of cotton industry in Xinjiang since the founding of People＇ s Republic of China, then analyzes its advantages and challenges under the international financial crisis, finally, it puts forwards countermeasures on how to develop it in Xinjiang.
