When humans return from the netherworld, how can they protect their bodies？ The ＂revival magic＂ and the ＂revival panacea＂ are the embodiment of ancient Indian wisdom learned by Chinese writers＇ netherworld travels. And the ＂prediction motif＂ is interwoven with the saying that ＂the nether world traveling can help one know what will happen in this world＂,so the traveler can overhear some secrets. The comparison between Yama＇ s impartiality and his underlings＇ negligence,as well as the august Hades and the just netherworld law constitutes a sharp contrast to the official administration in this human world,and makes it possible for the traveler to narrate his own experience in this world,so as to intensify the credibility of such tales.
