摘要
对当前EPON(Ethernet Passive Optical Network)系统中比较经典的动态带宽分配算法进行简要分析,提出了一种支持QoS(Quality of Service)的动态带宽分配算法。算法动态确定轮询周期,充分保证了高优先级业务所需的带宽,同时考虑到了剩余带宽的再分配。仿真结果表明,该算法提高了系统的带宽利用率,提供了更加稳定的QoS。
The present classic dynamic bandwidth allocation algorithm in the Ethernet passive optical network(EPON) system is analyzed and a dynamic bandwidth allocation algorithm supporting quality of service(QoS) is proposed. This algorithm which ascertains the polling cycle dynamically not only ensures the bandwidth for high priority services but also makes allowance for the reallocation of excess bandwidth. Simulation results show that the algorithm can enhance system bandwidth utilization rate and provide still more stable QoS.
