生物经济时代即将来临。生物技术产业由医药生物技术、农业生物技术和工业生物技术3个部分组成。医药生物技术产业是未来生物经济的先导,农业生物技术产业是未来生物经济的基础,工业生物技术产业是未来生物经济的支柱。生物炼制是未来生物产业的核心,分子生物学、系统生物学及合成生物学构成了未来生物技术发展的学科基础,能源作物、分子机器、细胞工厂、过程工程和系统工程是现代生物技术的主要技术平台。
The new era of bio-economy is coming. Modern biotechnology is composed of three sections ： pharmaceutical, agricultural and industrial biotechnology. Pharmaceutical biotechnology is the forerunner of the future bio-economy, while agricultural biotechnology is the foundation and industrial biotechnology is the pillar, of bio-economy. Bio-refinery is the core element among biological industry. Molecular biology, systems biology and synthetic biology constitute the academic foundation of the future biotechnology. The main technological platforms include biomass, molecular machine, cell factory, process engineering and systematic engineering.
