摘要
介绍了基于网络分布环境的远程打印服务系统（ＲＬＰ）的设计目的、功能、结构和基本工作流程；着重讨论了打印作业的网络传输与状态跟踪方案；对网络传输故障、本机崩溃、过量远程请求等影响系统健壮性的问题进行处理，并采取主要的技术措施来提高系统的效率、保证系统安全性．
This paper presents RLP, a remote printing service system. The target, function, structure, and processing procedures of RLP are introduced. The schemes of print jobs' transmitting and state tracing, the handling of such situations as network failure, local host failure, and excessive remote requests that can harm the robustness of the system, and the techniques used to improve the efficiency and security of the system are discussed in detail.
