摘要
目的动名词和现在分词的构成形式完全相同,导致学生学习时难以区分。本文从动名词和现在分词作定语、表语、补语时的差异入手,对二者进行了分析。同时也探讨了如何区分动名词的独立结构与现在分词的复合结构。
Objective Gerund and present participle have the same formation which leads to the confusion of students.This article analyzes the difference between gerund and present participle when they are used as attributive,predicative or complement.It also discusses how to differentiate between gerund used in the absolute construction and present participle used in the compound structure.
