摘要
1903年,端方主持创办湖北幼稚园,是为中国第一所幼稚园,相关研究对此多有提及,但对其创办过程及幼稚园附设女学堂则语焉不详。通过缕析湖北幼稚园附设女学堂从创办到解体的过程,我们可从中一窥清末女子教育发展的困境。
In 1903, DuanFang launched Hubei Kindergarten, which was the first one in China. Relative researches have mentioned this, but few described its developing course and ancillary female school at great length. So we can say Duan had the dualpurpose of developing preschool and female education. Through this research, we also can see the predicament of female education in the late Qing Dynasty.
