摘要
宽缘萤叶甲Pseudosepharia Laboissi(?)re是萤叶甲亚科中的单模属,目前全世界仅知产于四川的Pseudosepharia dilatipennis(Fairmaire)一种。本属鞘翅强烈膨阔,侧缘近圆形,翅端平截,缘折甚宽;前足基节窝开放;后足胫节端部有一较长的刺,第1跗节颇长,长于其余三节之和。 作者在整理标本过程中发现一个新种,是借南开大学的标本。模式标本保存在中国科学院动物研究所。
In this paper, a new species are described; it belongs to the genus Pseudosepharia Labo-issie of subfamily Galerucinae. The type specimen are deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Academia Sinica, Beijing.Pseudosepharia nigriceps sp. nov.Redish; antennae red-brown, head black.Antennae extending to a little distance beyond the middle of elytra, third segment di-stanctly longer than second and shorter than fourth, following segment somewhat equal in length. Vertex with sparsely and finely punctures. Pronotum slightly less than twice as broad as long, basal margin distinctly convex: surface rather smooth, closely and finely punctures. Elytra finely and closely punctured; epipleuron very broad, behind of basal gradually narrowed and complete from the base to apex of elytra.Length: 4.5-6.3mm. breadth: 2.5-3.4mm.Holotype (?), Hubei: Fangxian Co. 16.Ⅵ. 1977; Allotype (?), Shennongjia, 1. Ⅶ. 1977. Paratypes, 1(?), 1(?), id.; 1(?), 9. Ⅵ. 1977; 1(?), 22. Ⅵ. 1977.Resembling Ps. dilatipennis (Fairmaire) in general appearance, but head black and legs red and male genitalia with difference (figs. 1,2).
