摘要
地方高校的最大特点是地方性。服务社会、促进地方经济文化和社会发展,是地方高校最重要的职能之一。对地方高校服务社会的范围与路径的领解,是地方高校实现为地方服务的前提;强化服务地方的理念、建立健全服务地方的机制,则为地方高校服务社会提供了保证。地方院校把服务社会作为主要职能,在满足地方经济文化和社会发展需要的同时,也获得了自身的生存根基,对于增强办学活力、实现自我价值具有重要作用。
Regional universities have strong local characteristics. One of the major functions of regional universities is to serve society and facilitate local economic, cultural and social development. The understanding of the scope and approach of serving society is a preliminary step for regional universities to serve society. The strengthening of consciousness and construction of mechanism to serve society guarantees regional universities serving society. Regional universities should take serving society as their main function.
