A new perspective on grammaticalization:On contact-induced grammaticalization

摘要语法化与语言接触的关系是当前历史语言学、接触语言学特别是语法化学界普遍关注的热点课题。大量研究表明,语法化过程既可导源于语言内部因素,亦可诱发于语言接触。Heine和Kuteva(2003,2005)将后一类语法化现象称之为"接触引发的语法化"。本文主要基于Heine和Kuteva(2003,2005,2006,2007a)的分析框架,讨论与接触引发的语法化相关的几个问题。 It has been suggested that grammaticalization processes can be induced or motivated by language-internal factors as well as language contact.The latter case is termed 'contact-induced grammaticalization' in Heine and Kuteva(2003,2005,2006).Based on Heine and Kuteva,this paper reviews some critical issues arising from contact-induced grammaticalization.
