摘要
文章首先简要介绍了社会语言学,然后着重从四个方面阐述了社会语言学对大学英语教学的启示:英语学习是否成功,在很大程度上取决于教师的态度和学生的认识;将文化教学与大学英语教学有机结合起来;大学英语教学的最终目的在于培养学生的交际能力;大学英语教学必须注重培养学生的语篇意识。
This paper first simply introduces sociolinguistics. Then it expounds how sociolinguistics affects the college English teaching in China: teachers" and students" attitudes have a deep influence on the success in English learning, combine culture teaching with college English teaching , the purpose of college English teaching is to cultivate communicative competence and college English teaching must develop students" text consciousness.
